We had the opportunity to collaborate on the animation of selected scenes for OpenAI’s first-ever TV campaign, premiered during the Super Bowl, alongside an incredible team of motion designers, Houdini artists, and AI artists.
Our contribution focused on the Caveman and Outro sequences from the main film, where we developed and refined motion treatments to support the visual storytelling.
During the production process, we also explored experimental directions for the DNA and Horse scenes, testing multiple visual approaches and generating a series of motion studies from which some of our favorite shots emerged.
A key part of the work involved experimenting with dot systems and grid structures, carefully adjusting scale, density, and rhythm to build the evolving visual language of the film.
This project also pushed us into new territory, including walk and run cycles and character-based animation, expanding our motion design practice into more performance-driven animation.
